Online Auction Wrap-Up!

The VYOA 2016 Online Auction wrapped up on Sunday evening with a flurry of last-minute bidding!  Congratulations and thank you to all of those who won some incredible items and supported a great cause at the same time.  We fell just shy of our goal, but were able to raise over $9,500 in financial aid funding for students in our orchestras, choruses, and summer camps!  There is still time if you would like to help us get close the gap and hit our goal – just make a donation online (click here) or by check and note that you would like your donation to be counted toward our Online Auction goal in support of financial aid for students.

This fundraiser would not have been possible without the support of many, many people:

• Thank you to the VYOA families, who came together to donate beautiful gift baskets to be put up for auction;
• Thank you to the parent volunteers and board members who solicited items from local businesses or helped to coordinate the gift baskets;
• Thank you to everyone who spread the word about the auction, whether you shared it on Facebook, forwarded an email, or made a phone call;
• And a huge THANK YOU to all of the generous businesses who donated the items, services, and gift certificates that made the auction so much fun.  Please patronize these businesses and tell them the VYOA sent you!
